The minerals in tap water eventually cake onto the fog-producing components in most ultrasonic humidifiers, leading to reduced output if not permanent damage. Low cost humidifiers often cannot be repaired when this occurs (though you can delay the effect by installing a water filter in your intake line). The floating foggers we offer, however, can have their fog-producing ceramic discs replaced as needed – saving you significant costs over the long-term.
We suggest always having at least two full extra sets of extra discs on hand (the number depending on the model of fogger you use), so that there’s no risk of your fruiting space being inoperable when you least expect it.
